Greenleaf to St. Cloud Minnesota Easement

The Greenleaf-to-St. Cloud Lateral was a 1967 Williams Brothers Pipe Line Company project involing a proposed 38-mile pipeline and a new products terminal.  The pipeline lateral was to tie-in to the Magellan Pipeline Company, L.P. Rosemount-to-Willmar pipeline at approximately mile post 70 (Meeker County, MN) and terminate at a new terminal to be constructed outside of St. Cloud,, MN (stearsn County, MN).  To accomodate the project, right-of-way was purchased for the entire 38-mile route.

NPLR acquired this easement in 2008 for the purpose of holding it for future development.  The standard document used for the easements states that it is "an easement and right of way to survey, construct, maintain, inspect, operate, protect, repair, alter, replace, change the size of, and remove a pipeline or pipelines and appurtenances at any time or times for the transporatation of liquids, gases and/or solids upon and along a route or routes to be selected".  There are also some non-standard documents that were used for specific negotiations.

All original documents and records are in the possession of NPLR.
